Microseris scapigera, the yam daisy, is a small biennial to perennial plant that can grow edible tuberous roots. It grows well in large pots, troughs and garden beds which will allow good root formation, with a moist free draining soil with some organic matter. In its natural growing range it is drought and frost tolerant and can handle poorer soils.

Sow seed fresh for best germination, excess heat can limit germination. Growing notes will be emailed with order.
