Platycerium bifurcatum ‘Netherlands’ – Elkhorn Fern

A selected form of elkhorn fern which grows well in pots, forming an interesting and sculptural growth habit. It does well indoors, as well as for sheltered spots outdoors. It can be grown in hanging baskets, or tied to a backplate, or onto trees. Feed once a month with half strength liquid fertiliser, and keep moist but not wet. It loves leaf litter collecting behind it, and banana peels can also be added to boost the organic matter. Frost tender.
