Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Nafray’ Swamp Foxtail Grass

A compact, clumping perennial grass with broad arching leaves and showy, mauve-purple feathery flowers through the warmer months. Great for mass planting, accent planting for rockeries and borders. Tolerates windy conditions and salt laden winds.Plumes suitable for dried arrangements.
Note: This species can seed, though it has been reported that it seeds much less than the exotic pennisetum, so should pose less problem. If in doubt, remove the old flower heads.
