Eucalyptus crucis – Silver Mallee

The silver mallee is a small tree with lovely silvery foliage and a multi-stemmed mallee habit. It has beautiful reddish ‘minnirichi’ bark, which curls and peels to expose lighter coloured bark underneath. It has cream bird attracting flowers. Frost and drought tolerant, it is suitable for clay to sandy and loamy alkaline soils.
