A gorgeous small tree with large glossy dark green leaves with a light green reverse with reddish new foliage during the warmer months of the year. Outstanding terminal display of large red flowers which are a magnet to nectar loving birds. Prefers a well drained soil in a sunny position.
These trees are now grafted, so they will grow in the more humid areas, as well as the southern states.
Note– this plant produces large gumnuts which can be a slipping and tripping hazard when they drop
