The annual Koonya Garlic Festival is a uniquely original Tasmanian experience that celebrates the joy of garlic, the food it flavours and the music and arts that it inspires.
There will be foodtrucks and food stalls to enjoy, and award winning drinks places to savour. Wander round the other stalls and also enjoy the music.
The fabulous garlic inspired cooking demonstrations from celebrated chefs will inspire your own foodie adventures after the event. Talks on horticultural topics with Angus Stewart and Sophie Thomson from Gardening Australia will help the grow-your-owns, . The garlic competition will showcase the results of expert and amateur growers. A garlic plaiting workshop and a garlic pinata are not to be missed! There is lots of other things to do for the kids, too, to make this a great family day out.
