What jobs do I need to do in my Australian garden in March?

Deep watering every week will train root systems to go down and seek moisture in the sub-soil.
Hedge plants such as lilly pilly, box, murraya, photinia and coast rosemary can be pruned now.
For those in warmer climates bulbs such as tulips and hyacinths need to be put into the crisper section of the fridge for six weeks or so before planting.
Feed citrus trees and mulch around the base but keep a 10cm space between the trunk and the mulch to prevent collar rot.
Fungal leaf diseases thrive at this time of year so remove any sick leaves to stop disease spreading.
