Casuarina glauca prostrate ‘Shagpile’ – She-oak

A great tough ground covering Casuarina that hugs the ground with dense carpeting growth. It has grey green long, thin and soft leaves, and the carpeting foliage will deter weeds. A good plant for low maintenance areas, as well as for interesting sculptural uses as it flows over rocks and mounds. Good for full sun to part shade, and does well in most soils as long as it gets good drainage. Tolerates dry conditions and frost, and is suitable for coastal areas.
