Boronia muelleri ‘Seaside Stars’

A beautiful small shrub growing to a metre high, it bears masses of pink starry flowers in winter and spring. It needs a well drained and moist soil for best performance. A light coverage of mulch or a few rocks to keep the root zone cool is beneficial. Also good for container growing, so it can be moved to the best place when it is in flower. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage a more dense habit, and give it a handful of a good native fertiliser in spring. The flowers are fragrant and make great cut flowers.
