Acmena smithii ‘Dusky’ – Lilly Pilly

A tough lilly pilly with bronze new foliage growth. Great for hedges and screens, Dusky is a very tough plant. Will perform best in a good organic soil with regular water through dry periods. Fertilise in spring with a good all purpose plant food. Mulch well to deter weed growth and to conserve soil moisture. Bears edible berries following the fluffy cream flowers which can be used for jam making.

Note – be aware that fallen berries can be a slip and trip hazard when they drop, and will need regular cleaning up.
